Installing Kevlar ® Skid Plates is an easy way to protect both the bow and stern of your canoe from shoreline scrapes and strikes on submerged rocks. Our skid plates are made of Para-Aramid (Kevlar®) which is a robust and rigid fiber known for its exceptional resistance to abrasion and cutting. 

We recommend you install the plates with epoxy resin (not included).
