We’re two sisters born and raised in Yellowknife and we first made this product to work for us. Now, we offer our solution for a healthy, more enjoyable outdoor Northern summer experience to others! To ensure the consistent quality of our products, each Thyme Off product is handmade by us in small batches, right here in Yellowknife.
Evidence-based formula made for NWT varieties of mosquitoes (and more!)
There are 3,600 varieties of mosquitoes, and only a handful of these varieties are found in the NWT. Most natural bug repellents are heavily formulated with citronella. After a thorough literature review of essential oil efficacies across different mosquito species, we discovered that there are much more effective plant extracts to use up here! We created Thyme Off using science, pragmatism and a nose for appealing unisex scents!
